We have a main hall and a smaller room, 4 loos including two suitable for the disabled, a well equipped kitchen, enough tables, chairs, cutlery, crockery and glassware for 100 guests, speakers and a stage.

The main hall can hold 80 seated guests or 100 standing.

Yes. The maximum size is 4.5 x 5.5m. We can’t accommodate bigger castles because of the position of the stage lighting. The height of the hall is 3.1m

The playground behind the hall is owned and managed by Lighthorne Parish Council and does not form part of your booking. Children attending the hall may use the playground under supervision

Yes, the hall has its own car park. Hirers can also park on Bishops Hill opposite the hall

Your period of hire should include the time you need to set up and clear away. You will not be able to enter the hall until the start time of your booking

There is an hourly charge (£12/hour for residents of Lighthorne village and £20/hour for everyone else). We also request a security deposit of £100 which is returned promptly after your event as long as the hall is left clean and tidy.

The booking charge and security deposit must be paid at least 7 days before your event. We prefer a bank transfer for both; the account details are on the booking form. We will also accept cash.
